Changelog
Every release, newest first. Tiny fixes don't make the list; we'd rather not admit to them in writing. Want these in your Discord server? See how to get the changelog in your server.
Versioning. The game is on v0.2.0. A big release bumps the middle number and a smaller release or fix bumps the last. Anything 0.x is pre-release. The public relaunch will be 1.0.0, and we'll act surprised.
v0.2.0
Now with pictures.
- Rare loot, victories, trophies and boss intros now arrive as rendered cards. Screenshot responsibly.
- Discord screens now show faces and painted item icons. Your gear finally looks like it cost something.
- The route map is a painted card now, with clearer node buttons. Getting lost is officially your fault.
/fightnow drops loot. It always should have. We would rather not talk about it.- Finished bounties now say so loudly, with a Claim button. Free gold no longer waits politely to be noticed.
/profileleads with your card, expedition wins get a Victory block, and level-ups list your stat gains.
v0.1.0
The first beta.
- Talents let each class pick a build as it levels. Bad builds are now a personal choice.
/achievementskeeps score of your wins and, mostly, of how you lost.- The daily gauntlet: one road, one fixed kit, the same for everyone. Excuses not included.
- Deeper gate roads add twists: weather, then forks, then mutators. Plans are now optional.
- New accounts start as a doomed veteran before their first heir. The tutorial bites back.
- The road now has an ending. Getting there is still your problem.
How to get the changelog in your server
The RPG Thunder bot can post each new release in a channel of your choice, right after it goes live. It posts only the release notes: no pings, no @everyone.
- Make sure the bot is in your server, not only the app. Add RPG Thunder if it isn't.
- In the channel you want, give the RPG Thunder bot View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links. The invite already asks for these, but a channel's own permissions can take them away (announcement channels often do).
- Someone with Manage Server runs
/changelog channeland picks the channel. The bot checks it can post there first and tells you what's missing if it can't.
The newest few releases are posted straight away; older ones stay here. After that, every new release is posted once. If posting keeps failing, for example because the channel was deleted, the bot stops trying until someone picks a channel again.
/changelog latestshows the newest releases to you, privately. Anyone can use it, anywhere./changelog statusshows where this server's posts go and the last one posted./changelog offstops the posts (Manage Server).
