The Star-Possessed Scholar
The Glass-Eyed Seer
Gate boss of Jasperwind · Tier 3
First seen by Anacott ·
A scholar who stared too long into the scrying mirror of the lake and had his soul replaced by a celestial entity from beyond the stars.
Story
The lake's perfect stillness allowed him to see further than any mortal should. What looked back saw an empty vessel and moved in. The scholar's body now houses something ancient and utterly alien.
